Victoria, while originally from New York City, spent the majority of her life in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. She’s a first-generation Ukrainian on her father’s side.  

She married Greg Firmbach in 2010 and together, they have five children. Their children live in Pennsylvania, Montana, New Hampshire and one right here in Parrish, Florida. They also have 13 grandchildren together, 5 boys and 8 girls. Their oldest grandchild just graduated college and the youngest is 3. They love seeing and spending quality time with them.  

Victoria is an information technology professional and has filled positions such as web architect, webmaster, manager, and senior application engineer during her 20+ years in the IT field. She also worked as an Executive Director of a communications company as well as a manager in various other companies. She’s also owned and operated her own IT company for seven years. Victoria has a varied background in both soft skills as well as technical skills. Her educational background includes college, technical schools, and numerous technology-focused certification courses. She’s a jack of all trades when it comes to Information technology. Her qualifications include network cabling, PC and server configuration, website design/development, content management system design/development/management, and telecommunications. She also has a very full scope of expertise in applications including financial packages, graphics design, desktop publishing, and portal technologies.  

Last year was the first year that she served on the HOA board as a director. Her core tasks were content management of the website and Facebook site for the HOA as well as the setup of email addresses. She’s also provided technical expertise in laptop, application related issues, and has suggested/acquired software to meet the needs of the HOA.  Victoria’s biggest accomplishment this year has been the redesign of the website to make it more user-friendly and has implemented multiple new features/enhancements for the benefit of our residents.    

Victoria’s first year as an HOA board member has been an enlightening experience.  She’s learned a lot about how an HOA runs as well as what the rules, regulations, and Florida statutes lay out as far as what can/cannot be done by an HOA. She believes that they’ve accomplished much this past year, but is ready to get started on the work that still needs to be done.
